We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment within our senior affordable housing community. In this role, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing and overseeing a variety of maintenance tasks to support the proper function, safety, and appearance of the property. Key duties include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will help create a comfortable and well-maintained environment for residents while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Argus Court is an affordable, vibrant rental community for seniors aged 62+ in Columbus, OH. Our welcoming, handicap-accessible community offers spacious one-bedroom apartments with modern amenities designed for comfort, convenience, and independent living. Residents enjoy a safe, engaging environment where community and connection come first.

What You'll Own:

• Perform routine inspections and repairs

• Troubleshoot and fix HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

• Maintain facility appearance (carpentry, painting, etc.)

• Ensure safety and code compliance

• Supervise junior maintenance staff

• Manage inventory and document work

How You’ll Stand Out:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)

• 2+ years maintenance experience, preferably in residential/senior housing

• Valid driver’s license

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and be on-call as needed

• Certifications (HVAC, electrical, etc.) a plus
