ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide outstanding service and contribute to overall team effort.
  • Fully understand and assist members with credit union products and services.
  • Demonstrate enthusiastic support of mission, core values and long term objectives.
  • Develop MXRs to their highest potential by holding them accountable for their performance, attitude and behavior. 
  • Recognize MXRs who perform at a high level.
  • Perform weekly meetings with documentation in ADP with MXRs. Perform daily verbal check-ins. 
  • Hold MXRs accountable to meeting daily referral numbers and closing percentages. 
  • Schedule employees for adequate coverage at all times, backup MXRs as needed. 
  • Manage lobby traffic via lobby management system, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destination.
  • Keep staff informed of pertinent changes in operational policy and procedures.
  • Assist members in person or via telephone with general account requests, respond to problems and additional inquiries.
  • Provide general credit union information regarding services and ensure prompt, professional, and confidential service. 
  • Refer credit union products and services and to MXOs when appropriate.
  • Ensure the branch and vaults are opened and closed on a timely basis.
  • Maintain proper teller and vault cash levels, including ordering coin and currency.
  • Responsible for conducting monthly cash box audits. 
  • Ensure cash recycler is filled and balanced. 
  • Manage branch Digital Teller Machine to clear jams and monitor.  
  • Handle branch escalations. 
  • Make collection calls for negative accounts and loans for any assigned queues. 
  • Post charge-off payments for negative savings accounts. 
  • Ensure confidentiality regarding member transactions and information.
  • Ensure compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Two years of banking or financial institution experience.
  • Prior managerial experience is preferred.
