What will your role be?
As a Helpdesk Technician, you're pivotal in deploying and maintaining IT systems and applications. Your responsibilities encompass coordinating maintenance services, ensuring IT security compliance, managing incident/service request tickets, providing hands-on support and proactively creating IT procedures.
- Execute general IT tasks, including backup procedures, antivirus, anti-malware, and PC systems
- Demonstrate proficiency in Workplace, Network, and Infrastructure management through active implementation
- Apply expertise in Google configurations and actively contribute to IT project management
- Implement strategies to address maritime IT challenges and mitigate cyber risks effectively
- Lead with strong interpersonal skills in a multi-country environment, demonstrating adaptability
- Exhibit integrity, resilience, creativity, and team spirit while actively engaging in problem-solving
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in the maritime industry
- Proven success in deploying and implementing IT systems and applications
- Adherence to vessel IT security policies and cyber security guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to manage incident/service request tickets within SLA
- Proactive creation and documentation of IT procedures as needed
- Effective communication and coordination with various service suppliers
- Practical knowledge in general IT practices, actively contributing to incident resolution and support
- Proven capability to lead and collaborate in a dynamic and challenging maritime environment
