The salary range for the position is $60,000 - $65,000 Annually
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance/Staff Trainer assists with coordinating, developing and facilitating required trainings and general professional development trainings. Ensures compliance with regulations through ongoing staff development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct agency wide trainings, including Orientation, SCIP-R, First-Aid/CPR, OSHA, CPI-2, Individual’s
- Rights, Abuse/Neglect/Incident Reporting, Compliance and Sexual Harassment.
- Participant in the development, presentation and tracking of OPWDD and other required training.
- Participate in coordination and scheduling trainings agency wide.
- Maintain current training certifications.
- Maintain/generate online training records and ensure accuracy as needed.
- Work with Quality Assurance team to meet OPWDD regulation changes and make necessary agency
policy adjustments. - Punctuality and regular attendance is expected.
- Maintain individual/family confidentiality.
- Commitment to company values and adherence to policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Extensive training experience and knowledge of OPWDD programs/services.
- Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Service Field preferred.
- Strong use of PowerPoint and/or similar programs and tools.
- Strong presence and facilitation skills to deliver trainings to staff of various organizational levels.
- Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously and effectively.
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to shifting agency needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with colleagues.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to handle multiple and simultaneous tasks and know how to prioritize and communicate changes
early and often.
