What You’ll Do
As a Shipper/Receiver, you’ll ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate, organized, and processed efficiently. You will:
- Verify, count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to confirm information against invoices, bills of lading, or orders
- Prepare and expedite shipments according to customer requirements
- Maintain proper operation of lift trucks, hand trucks, and other equipment, using required PPE
- Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments; reject damaged items and report shortages or discrepancies
- Receive and process defective parts for replacement or credit (RMA)
- Stock parts inventory and ensure accuracy
- Pick-up and deliver parts or materials using a company vehicle as needed
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Adhere to and promote all health and safety policies in the workplace
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Completion of OSHA-approved forklift training
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License (must meet company insurability standards)
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers
- Regularly lift/move up to 15 lbs, frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs (mechanical assistance available)
