The Fulfillment Manager supports the transformation of our Fulfillment department as we reimagine how we serve our communities. This role plays an important part in ensuring smooth fulfillment operations, strengthening collaboration across departments, and improving the overall neighbor experience. The Fulfillment Manager also helps drive our Equitability Initiative, supporting fair and consistent distribution practices to neighbors and partners across New Jersey.
What you’ll do in your role:
Operations & Service Delivery
- Manage day-to-day fulfillment operations to ensure accurate and timely distribution of resources to community partners.
- Support the execution of departmental initiatives and process improvements.
- Coordinate and monitor the monthly Allocation Process, including delivery slot assignments and compliance with operational guidelines.
- Track and analyze distribution targets to align with fiscal year goals.
- Help ensure equitable partner access to available inventory through efficient allocation workflows.
Data & Analytics Management
- Manage and analyze partner network data to ensure efficient service delivery
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic decisions
- Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement within fulfillment operations
- Oversee critical administrative functions including order processing and inventory management
Community Partnership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and enhance communication.
- Build strong working relationships with partners to ensure service quality and responsiveness.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at expanding access to healthy food choices across diverse communities.
Team Support & Development
- Supervise and guide fulfillment representatives, providing day-to-day directions and coaching.
- Encourage continuous learning and skill development within a growing team.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- 1–3 years of experience in management or as a team lead, with a focus on supervising personnel, coordinating tasks, and overseeing small projects, which includes managing timelines and deliverables.
- Understanding of fundamental operational or supply chain principles, coupled with a strong desire to expand knowledge and take on more complex responsibilities.
- Proficiency in data tools like Excel, along with an eagerness to learn PowerBI or similar systems.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively across different teams and foster strong working relationships.
- Availability for a flexible schedule to meet community needs, including occasional evening and weekend work.
- A strong dedication to equity, inclusion, and tackling food insecurity within local communities.
Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $64,260-$86,940. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
