Description
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our dealership team. This role is essential in providing a positive experience for our service customers by ensuring safe and timely transportation, maintaining a clean and welcoming shuttle environment, and supporting various dealership operations.
Key Responsibilities
Shuttle Operations:
- Safely transport customers to and from the dealership in a timely and courteous manner.
 - Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
 - Monitor shuttle schedule and coordinate with service advisors to ensure efficient routing.
 
Vehicle & Shuttle Maintenance:
- Keep the shuttle vehicle clean, organized, and presentable inside and out.
 - Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel level, tire pressure, cleanliness) and report any maintenance needs.
 - Restock snacks and beverages in the customer service lounge to enhance customer experience.
 
Customer Service & Support:
- Assist customers with entering and exiting the shuttle as needed.
 - Provide general information about dealership services when asked.
 - Communicate effectively with service advisors and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
 
Dealership Operations Support:
- Assist service advisors with customer flow and coordination.
 - Move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles in the service drive as needed.
 - Perform various tasks around the dealership, including light cleaning, organizing, and helping with customer service initiatives.
 
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 - Professional appearance and demeanor.
 - Ability to lift light items (snack boxes, small supplies) and perform physical tasks such as walking and standing for extended periods.
 
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or driving roles.
 - Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
 
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with weekends off.
 
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and valid license.
 - Customer Service Skills: Friendly, professional, and able to interact positively with customers.
 - Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shuttle environment.
 - Physical Requirements: Able to sit, stand, walk, and lift light items (up to 25 lbs) throughout the shift.
 - Time Management: Punctual and able to manage shuttle schedules efficiently.
 - Team Player: Willing to assist with various dealership tasks and work collaboratively with service staff.
 - Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask as needed.
 - Professional Appearance: Neat and presentable at all times.
