Summary
We are seeking a polished, customer-focused Spa Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our spa. This role combines hospitality, sales, and organization to ensure each guest receives an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will thrive in a client-focused environment, demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, and confidently recommend services that align with client goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients with professionalism and care, creating a welcoming environment.
- Confidently recommend and upsell appropriate services, packages, and retail products based on client needs and goals.
- Follow up with leads and past clients to drive bookings and rebookings.
- Manage scheduling to ensure smooth client flow throughout the day.
- Accurately book, edit, and cancel appointments using spa booking software.
- Process payments, update client records, and assist with reporting needs.
- Open and close the spa according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain daily spa operations to include pool and fitness, ensuring the environment is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Monitor and order inventory to avoid supply disruptions.
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Support leadership initiatives, share feedback, and foster innovation in guest service.
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture with a friendly, team-oriented attitude.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a sales, front desk, or client-facing role (spa, salon, medical office, or retail preferred).
- Strong sales instincts with the ability to recommend, upsell, and close effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with booking software with strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and some evenings.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for guest service.
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset.
- Team player who contributes to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods time
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your annual salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
