What a Director of Marketing does:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and new client acquisition.
  • Position McHale as the leading luxury landscape design firm in the DMV by maintaining a consistent and elevated brand presence across all channels.
  • Contribute directly to content creation, campaign management, and message refinement.
  • Optimize SEO, SEM, social media, and paid media campaigns using analytics to maximize ROI.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of the DMV market to tailor campaigns, build partnerships, and identify emerging trends.
  • Lead by example while managing agencies, freelancers, and vendor relationships.
  • Embody McHale’s core values of integrity, humility, adaptability, teamwork, continuous improvement, tenacity, and partnership.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 8-12+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles.
  • Experience in luxury markets (high-net-worth clientele, premium brands, real estate, hospitality, or design).
  • Proven success developing and executing multi-channel strategies that deliver measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong skills in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, paid media, and analytics).
  • Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of the DMV market and affluent customer demographics (preferred).
