Key Responsibilities

  • Receives merchandise by unloading vehicles, checking merchandise for damage, verifying freight bills, material lot numbers and quantity; placing material in stock.
  • Prepares orders for carrier service by packing and labeling merchandise; delivering to carrier or arranging pickup; maintaining carrier records.
  • Controls inventory by conducting physical counts and reconciling with inventory system; notifying purchasing department when reorder points are reached; retrieving unused or excess supplies and equipment and re-entering them to inventory.
  • Light assembly and kitting of material.
  • Provisioning of electronic equipment
  • Provides information by answering questions; inputting and generating data; completing forms.
  • Supports other departments by establishing routing deliveries of standard orders; determining other predictable supply needs.
  • Prepares stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing product.
  • Maintains equipment by completing pre-use inspections and reporting needed repairs
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, with a focus on quality in all functions
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Educational Requirements
