A Final Control Inside Sales Manager operates in three spheres:
- Managing and Supporting Members of their Team
- Leading and Supporting Strategic and Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Acting as a Member of the Inside Sales Team
What you'll be doing:
Managing and Supporting Members of Your Team:
- Set the standard for exceptional customer experiences that contribute to our customers’ business success.
- Determine and understand customer’s key business issues and needs.
- Develop a high level of relevant industry knowledge for Key/Strategic accounts.
- Responsible for implementation and oversight of business unit pricing policy decisions.
- Lead all activities on assigned accounts, including sales forecasts, gross profit forecasts, territory, and account plans.
- Assist Inside Sales staff with review and preparation of quotations, follow-up, sourcing equipment and closing orders, as necessary. If required, the Account Manager may help expedite delivery of equipment, vendor data, and payment.
- Ensure quotes are completed in a timely manner.
- Create solutions utilizing products and services offered by Caltrol to address customer’s business needs.
- Utilize inside sales metrics to guide individual and team performance improvements.
- Updates management regularly on pipeline projects.
- Prepare and develop reports for executive management.
- Build and maintains day-to-day relationships with external vendors.
- Maintain and update project tracking tools and participate in scheduled review sessions.
- Recruits, interviews, mentors, coaches, hires Inside Sales team members.
- Coordinate and conduct trainings with members of the Inside Sales team.
- Support individual career development plans for each member of the Inside Sales team, in coordination with HR.
- Ensure compliance with Caltrol’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Leading and Supporting Strategic and Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Actively participate as a member of the Final Control Leadership team, including attending scheduled meetings and preparing and delivering updates to teammates.
- Participate in the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives and annual business plans.
- Define the knowledge and skills required for Inside Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, and Project Coordinators.
- Cultivate industry knowledge and expertise among team members that contributes to our customer’s business success.
- Establish and implement metrics with Caltrol’s business improvement team to measure and improve inside sales performance.
- Assist in new product launches internally, and with customers, including the implementation of programs, ancillary tools, and processes to increase customer adoption.
- Drive required changes in inside sales policies and processes to support our QMS (Quality Management System).
- Participate or assigns a participant to achieve the goals of the IFS (Caltrol's ERP System) and CRM implementation teams.
- Lead productive collaboration of Inside Sales with Outside Sales, Service, Accounting and Operations teams.
Acting as a Member of the Inside Sales Team:
- Support customers or teammates with quote preparation.
- Communicates with customers and salespeople and interacts with principal vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year Engineering degree.
- Background in process controls.
Hiring Range:
The hiring range for this position is $110,000-$155,000 annually plus Quarterly Profit Sharing. This is the base pay scale range Caltrol reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience of the candidate along with the requirements of the position. In addition, you will receive a company performance bonus structured to match the thrill of your success stories.

Physical Demands:
This job is performed in a typical office setting as well as visits to customer sites. Sites may be loud with exposure to varying degrees of temperature. While on site, PPE may be required including wearing safety shoes. While on site, extended periods of walking and standing may be required.
Travel:
Periodic travel, including overnights, for company events and trainings.
