Videographer & Editor Job Overview:
Locke Supply is looking for a talented Videographer & Editor to join our marketing team.
We’re looking for an individual with excellent communication skills to work closely with our Director of Marketing to create video projects for a wide variety of content.
Our ideal candidate will also be a skilled photographer.
Some examples of the types of content you’ll get to work on are:
- An original podcast set to launch in 2025
 
- Creating online courses to help our associates increase their product knowledge
 
- Internal training videos for multiple departments
 
- Video ads for online campaigns
 
- Social media reels
 
- Updating product photography for the new website we’re building
 
- Taking official headshot photos for employees
 
Our ideal candidate will have high-level skills in the areas below:
- Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid (as long as you specialize in one, we’re open to switching programs)
 - Proficiency in shooting video & editing video with well-timed transitions
 
- Proficiency in lighting sets
 
- Natural ability to be a storyteller with your work
 
- Capturing great audio when filming
 
- High-quality editing, mixing, and mastering of audio in the post-production process
 
- Performing any necessary audio restoration in the post-production process
 
- Foundational knowledge of color grading & color correction to enhance video quality
 
- Running video shoots with up to 4 cameras
 
- Gathering, loading, and setting up all equipment for video & photoshoots (cameras, lighting, microphones, etc.)
 
- Conducting professional photoshoots in both product photography and model / talent photography
 
- Proficiency in post-production editing of images in Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom
 
- Natural ability to be personable with clients, co-workers, and individuals whom you’ll be filming / photographing
 
- Excellent verbal and written communication
 
- Being highly organized, with the ability to keep track of dozens of projects via project management software (Asana, Trello, or similar) to ensure you meet deadlines
 
- Ability to effectively use an internal folder system with clear labeling that makes media assets easy to locate for team members
 
- Providing regular project updates to team members
 
- Ensuring that all media equipment is properly maintained and taken care of to avoid damage
 
- Reporting to and collaborating with our Director of Marketing on all projects
 - Assisting Director of Marketing with other marketing department objectives as needed
