About The Role:

In this brand-new role reporting into the SVP Global Sales, you will own global education development, creating impactful training programs and tools to empower retail partners, wholesale associates, and internal stakeholders, driving sell-through and consistent brand representation. Initially, this role will identify, onboard, and manage an outsourced agency to deliver field support, ensuring alignment with AKT’s brand standards and sales objectives. Over time, this activity will transition to building and leading an internal field team split across USA, UK, EU and APAC. You will Liaise externally with wholesale and retail partners, including their education and sales team. Previously you will have Operated in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment requiring agility and hands-on leadership. In this mobile role you will be required to travel (30–40% across the US), with occasional international travel to the UK HQ and other key markets.

 

Requirements

  • Agency Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard a field team agency; set KPIs, reporting structures, and performance expectations to maximize ROI.
  • Team Transition: Develop phased plans for transitioning from outsourced to internal field team as sales scale; lead recruitment and onboarding of internal field staff.
  • Education Strategy: Design, deliver, and continuously evolve training curriculum (in-person, virtual, and digital) to elevate product knowledge and customer engagement.
  • Launch Excellence: Partner with Sales and Marketing to deliver training and field execution plans that support key launches, activations, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Retail Partner Engagement: Collaborate with retail education teams (Sephora, Space NK, Bloomingdale’s, Credo…) to align training approaches and field activity.
  • Performance Analytics: Track, analyse, and report on training effectiveness, sell-through impact, and field team productivity; recommend improvements.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budget for agency contracts, training content development, events, and field activations.
  • Culture & Brand Representation: Inspire brand passion internally and externally by ensuring field teams embody AKT’s values and deliver consistent customer experience.

About You:

  • Experience managing outsourced agencies and/or field sales teams in beauty, personal care, or body care.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver education/training programs across multiple formats (in-person, virtual, e-learning).
  • Strong understanding of wholesale and retail environments (beauty specialty, department stores, clean beauty independents)
  • Commercial acumen with ability to link training and field activity to sell-through growth.
  • Demonstrable experience of effectively leadership,  stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Experience of building new functions in a fast growth environment working flexibility and creatively
  • Experience of  budgets, delivering against KPIs, and reporting processes.
  • Experience transitioning from agency-managed to in-house field structures.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools.
  • Global exposure, with ability to adapt training strategies across regions and cultures
