SA Quality Assurance Engineer at TCC Solutions

Description

Our client is seeking a Software QA Engineer for a long-term multiple-year contract. Candidates will be a LeapWork test scripting resource in support of the client's Quality Assurance team. This role requires technical knowledge and experience developing LeapWork frameworks. Candidate will develop test automation and work closely with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects. 

Work Schedule/Location: 
• This is a hybrid/remote work environment. Work schedule will be 2 days remote and 3 days on site at client location in Annapolis Maryland. 
• In addition, on-site support may be required. 

Interview:
• A multi-part, in-person, interview will be required 

Responsibilities:
• Build LeapWork framework based upon prioritized test cases 
• Mentor other QA resources on best practices by jointly developing test flows.
• Meet with client to transition hand-over work document.
• Develop test scenarios based on the application requirements.
• Create detailed documentation of test cases and automation logic.
• Develop manual test scripts from which the automated test scripts will be based.
• Create automated test flows within the LeapWork platform for each identified process.
• Document all the troubleshooting steps and efforts.
• Create reports on test execution results and defect logging.
• Create user training materials for maintaining and expanding automation efforts.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:
• Must have 10 years of experience in all aspects of the Quality Assurance process, including review of requirements, design of scenarios and scripts, and development of QA tool frameworks.
• Must have 8 years of experience with development platforms such as cloud computing and on-premise solutions
• Must have at least 3 years experience with LeapWork test scripting.  
• Experience with Automated testing tools such Selenium, Silk Test, Rational Functional Tester.
• Ability to thoroughly document and troubleshoot errors.
• Ability to Interpret test cases for high-level and functional processes.
• Ability to Work effectively in a virtual team environment.
• Knowledge of System test life cycle, Agile, Scrum, and waterfall methods.
• Experience with Tracking tools (e.g., Service Now).
