Job Summary: Children of America is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. Our Maintenance personnel ensure the safety of their assigned schools through regular maintenance and repair to the facilities, equipment and vehicles as requested by corporate and school management.


Who Will You Interact with? In this role, you will have daily interactions with Maintenance Technicians and School Management.


What are the day-to-day responsibilities?


  • Perform repair and maintenance on assigned schools ensuring their adherence to government and licensing codes.
  • Supervise and lead the maintenance team.
  • Cooperate with school and corporate management to ensure all work is accomplished in a timely manner.
  • Promote Teamwork in relation with peers, subordinates and management teams.
  • Audit & report any observed needed repairs or maintenance to supervisor.
  • Attend or lead any meetings as requested.
  • Assist in the set-up of all new facilities and closing of old facilities.
  • Deliver and store supplies from the warehouse.
  • Purchase maintenance supplies in accordance with set policies and procedures at Children of America.
  • Always be available in cases of emergency and may include weekends and evenings.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance logs and email to document completion of jobs and daily activity.
  • Ensure that all activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of Children of America.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure leadership objectives & goals are met regularly by being in line with company directives and communicating plans of execution for special projects (short & long-term).
  • Passionate about Children of America's mission and able to promote and communicate the philosophy, mission and values of Children of America to coworkers, customers and the community.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a multi-site Maintenance leadership role required.
  • Must have a valid Driver License required and a clean driving record.

The Base range for this position is $70,000 to $77,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or other benefits.
