Paramedic - Stead Family Children's Hospital -Pediatric Procedure Suite
The University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Nursing is seeking a Paramedic to perform specific tasks to assist members of the Nursing team in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager.
Percent of Time: 100%
Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift
Location: Stead Family Children’s Hospital (SFCH)
Rotations: no weekends, every other holiday

- Regular salaried position located in Iowa City, Iowa

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduation from high school, and
- Current paramedic certification by the Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, and
- Current course completion card in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association, and
- Current course completion card in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association
