Role Mission
 
All GTI events (B2C/B2B/B2E), experiences, and programmes are highly engaging, valuable, and widely recommended, delivered seamlessly both digitally via our events platform and in-person across the UK.
 
Stakeholders include universities, career services, departments, societies and charitable organisations.
 
Key Metrics 
  • Measure attendee, employer, and educator feedback through Net Promoter Score (NPS) and satisfaction surveys.
  • All events are delivered within the allocated budget to ensure profitability.
  • All events are delivered to an excellent operational standard against process playbooks. 
  • 15,000 student registrations to our student events programme. 

Outcomes

Events are outstanding and sector leading
  • Deliver engaging events, that drive registrations.
  • Collect ideas and needs from our teams, employers, students, universities (departments, faculties, societies), and charity partners.
  • Plan every detail of events, including agendas, formats, platform features, and venues.
  • Assist in securing and coordinating with presenters and speakers, keeping their details updated in the CRM
  • Collate attendee feedback to continuously enhance the programme and event formats.
  • Build strong relationships and expand our network of venues, suppliers, and event partners.
Attendee experience is engaging and highly converting 
  • Develop student events and programmes that prioritise a student-friendly look-and-feel, marketing, content, and format. These events will include a mix of in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats, balancing the needs of students, employers, and educators while achieving Customer Success and Go To Market objectives.
  • Collaborate to create and maintain captivating landing pages, social media posts, and event materials.
  • Work to ensure the event registration process offers an exceptional user experience (UX), maximizing conversions. 
All event partners are supported
  • Create materials for partners to help them promote GTI experiences and events.  
  • Liaise with students, employers and educators to deliver great value and customer service at all times. 
Collaborative processes are implemented and followed, to effectively manage multiple events concurrently
  • Actively maintain and update our CRM systems to ensure all communications are accurate and current.
  • Contribute to and implement process improvements, incorporating your own ideas and guidance from others, to achieve optimal team performance.
Events team is high performing
  •  Regularly report on progress against defined event goals and targets. 
  • Work closely with the Go To Market and Educator teams to support employer sales and account management, ensuring great results for everyone involved.
  • Support the management of the Events team to ensure everything is delivered effectively and on time. 

Person Specification

To excel in this dynamic role, you'll need outstanding creative, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will be driven and enthusiastic about helping students discover work opportunities and fostering their skill development and relationships with employers. Your passion for GTI's business and values will enable you to make significant contributions to the Student Success Team's objectives.
 
Work Experience, Knowledge & Skills
  • You have experience in running or designing events or e-learning, whether face-to-face or on digital platforms.
  • You possess creativity and a keen eye for design and marketing to bring experiences and events to life.
  •  You are confident and adept at generating and communicating new ideas across various platforms and formats.
  • You are passionate about advancing the lives of young people from diverse backgrounds.
  • You demonstrate awareness and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • You are willing to travel as required for events.
  • You can dive in and work effectively as an integral member of a small, dedicated team.

Other Information

·        Permanent role 22.5 hours per week. 
·        3-month probationary period.
