The Business of Fashion (BoF) is looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager to join the Commercial Team. This role will support the ongoing growth of BoF Insights AI Tools business, the Business of Fashion’s data and analysis think tank.

What We Need You To Do 

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing company as a key member of its commercial team. This position will be based in our London office, and will report to the Associate Director, Business Development, who oversees global partnerships across BoF Insights.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Build relationships with senior executives in the fashion, beauty and professional services industries (e.g., VP/Director/Head of Consumer Insights/Strategy/Media)
  • Source and close BoF Insights AI Tool partnerships across both our current suite of tools and future tool launches
  • Identify prospective clients and manage the sales pipeline
  • Oversee and drive growth for key accounts, including renewals, and proactively surface upsell and cross-sell opportunities for colleagues in the Advisory sales team
  • Act as a brand ambassador for BoF
  • Work closely with business development, customer success, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Handle administrative responsibilities tied to sales, including account setup, invoicing, and sales tracking

Who You Are

  • An experienced Business Development professional, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experienced in consultative sales, ideally in selling subscription partnerships (Strategy Consulting or Consumer Insights sales background preferred)
  • Confident to represent BoF at both in-person and online engagements and are viewed as a respected and trusted BoF “ambassador” among senior executives in the industry seeking out our finger-on-the-pulse knowledge

You’ll Know You’re Successful When…

  • You are sourcing and closing BoF Insights AI Tools partnerships, delivering against our sales targets (£1M/annum)
  • You are building senior level relationships in the industry, creating awareness for BoF Insight’s products and services
  • You are working well with the existing commercial and BoF Insights teams
