Senior FP&A Analyst

Location: Bracknell Head Office ( minimum 3 days in office)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

Role Overview:

This role reports directly to the FP&A Manager. The key objective of this position is to support the FP&A manager with the centrally managed costs for Global overheads in EMEA along with supporting budget holders based in EMEA.

The role involves interaction with the accounting team in the shared services centre in Budapest (BSC), EMEA finance teams and the EMEA budget holders.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the EMEA Overheads results & forecasts are correctly accounted, reported and to improve business performance by:

1) Preparing timely and accurate annual plan and monthly forecasts, with clear understanding of the main movements.

2) Reviewing actual financial performance and communicating results to the EMEA budget holders & SLT for EMEA Overheads.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Review the month-end EMEA financial close against current forecast and plan for EMEA Overheads
  • Track progress against plan/forecast at EMEA and country level and proactively propose actions to help ensure achievement of planned performance.
  • Support the EMEA planning/forecasting and reporting process.
  • Identify & highlight risks & opportunities to achieve a ‘no surprises’ culture.
  • Resolve queries escalated by the BSC or budget holders.
  • Review and produce financial schedules for the EMEA Overheads and challenge where necessary.
  • Assist in driving standardization & process improvement across EMEA in all aspects of planning & reporting.
  • Understand drivers behind key metrics and FTE movements.
  • Support FP&A manager and other Finance Analyst as required for ad hoc project work.
  • Be an active team member and build relationships within departments and countries

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3 years + experience working in FP&A roles
  • Self-motivated and wanting to make a difference, with a track record of achievements.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, communication and influencing skills. 
  • Ability to quickly develop strong working relationships with country finance teams.
  • Pro-active approach with confidence to review processes, suggest and implement improvements
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience of GL and planning systems.
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
