Position Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):

• Commercial apprenticeship
• Finished trainee program in logistics, international trade or an equivalent qualification
• Knowledge in logistics and international trade
• Knowledge in customs procedures
• Good English skills
• Good knowledge of computer systems
• Experience in Office applications

Key Responsibilities:

Archiving and Dearchiving
• Archiving and Dearchiving of all study related materials (e.g. documents, paraffin slides and tissue blocks)
• Destruction of archival material upon request according to internal regulations
• Inventory documentations
• Environmental monitoring (e.g. pest control, temperature and humidity)
• Access control to Long Term Archive and Cryoarchive
• Preparing the transfer of documents to external archive and retrieving binders
• Prepare, create and edit study-specific shipping orders
• Handing over and receipt of archival material
• Monitoring of retention schedules

Logistics
• Preparation, quality control and monitoring of shipments including all required shipment documents. Shipments including biological specimens, electronic data media, devices, reagents and documents according to international guidelines such as UN3373 and UN1845
• Supply of Shipment Kits for sites worldwide
• Packing of shipments
• Provision of all relevant shipping documents
• Preparation of new studies (documents, KIT-Layout, etc.) in cooperation with the project manager
• Monitoring of all shipment stats including the handling of transport claims
• Troubleshooting of shipment problems
• Person in charge for all incoming logistic requests from customers, forwarding companies and internally
