The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a(n) IT Business Operations Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Owning and managing the fidelity of Budget Forecast metadata to ensure accuracy and alignment across financial planning activities
  • Operationalizing and managing end-to-end processes including spend request intake and approval, budget request intake and approval, project lifecycle tracking, invoice tracking, and contract renewal tracking
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and SharePoint sites that support business operations and enhance transparency across budget and project portfolios
  • Managing adherence to PMO Governance model including weekly portfolio reporting, RAID log consolidation, dashboard maintenance, and charter/change request facilitation
  • Supporting FP&A lead through vendor and contract owner engagement to ensure alignment of monthly accrual and amortization processes
  • Leading the coordination and development of materials for ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Business Administration, or Engineering or a related field AND 7 years of proven experience in operations management  

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND 10 years of proven experience in operations management 

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft excel to perform advanced-level data analysis
  • 5 years of experience designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards for operational and financial reporting
  • 5 years of experience designing and managing SharePoint sites to support business operations and collaboration
  • 5 years of experiencing building exec-facing reports via Microsoft PowerPoint
  • 3 years experience with financial administration, budgeting, and forecasting

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Strong financial acumen – ability to translate complex business problems into financial terms
  • Creative problem solving – ability to work with diverse functional teams to evaluate and address key issues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
