The Senior Infra Engineer will hold accountability for design, implementation, security, maintenance and support of software-defined infrastructure resources. They will work without the need for supervision and own and direct the tasks of more junior infra engineers. They will focus on Platform or Lab level objectives and may manage a sub-set of their team’s technical products

• Role Description:

  We are seeking a talented Engineer to join our dynamic team as part of our continuous software delivery platform. As an Engineer, you will play a vital role in curating end-to-end software delivery pipelines and ensuring software meets security and compliance requirements. You will primarily work with our CI/CD platforms, an essential tool within our ecosystem, and will also have responsibilities related to the artefact registries.

  What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain the continuous software delivery platform.
• Create and curate end-to-end software delivery pipelines to streamline the software deployment process, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including developers, testers, and operations teams, to gather requirements and implement CI/CD best practices.
• Monitor and optimise the performance of software delivery pipelines, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards, incorporating security practices and automation into the CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the software delivery pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in CI/CD practices and tools, proactively suggesting improvements to enhance our delivery capabilities.
  
  What you’ll need:
• Experience in software engineering, with a focus on CI/CD and continuous software delivery.
• Proficiency in working with CI/CD tools like Harness, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD or similar continuous delivery platforms.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, including version control, build automation, automated testing, and deployment.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools, such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of artefact registries and their role in software delivery.
• Familiarity with security and compliance practices within a software delivery environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong in azure networking, azure storage services, Infrastructure as code, PowerShell, biceps , terraform, Azure DevOps, IAAS , PAAS services
