About the job you’re considering

We are seeking a seasoned Performance Reliability Engineer (SRE Tester) with over 5 years of experience in ensuring system reliability, performance, and availability across cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring system health, investigating incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement preventive and automated solutions.

Your role

  • Monitor system health and performance metrics to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Utilize tools and write code to automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
  • Investigate system incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Development teams to debug issues and develop solutions.
  • Work with Azure Data Factory, Pipelines, ADLS, and other monitoring tools to support data workflows.
  • Develop and maintain live site dashboards for real-time visibility into system performance.
  • Ensure smooth deployment and release processes, minimizing downtime and risk.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and databases, and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
  • Communicate technical issues and resolutions effectively to stakeholders.

 

Your skills and experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Pipelines, ADLS, and monitoring tools.
  • Proven experience in incident investigation and preventive action implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools for monitoring and alerting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both Operations and Development teams.
  • Preferred Experience
    • Experience managing cloud infrastructure and debugging production issues.
    • Familiarity with live site dashboard development and maintenance.
    • Strong understanding of deployment and release management processes.
    • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and communicate solutions clearly to stakeholders.
