Primary Duties:

  • To improve technical downtime and safety problems, to reduce waste and improve team performance;
  • Provide consultation, analysis, evaluation and review of problems regarding automation, advanced methods and equipment;
  • Facilitate cross function teams/work groups to support continuous improvement programs in Maintenance.
  • Assist Maintenance/Production team members as a resource for trouble shooting equipment;
  • Support Maintenance Excellence activities.
  • Responsible for Global maintenance KPI standardization tracking-Obsolescent parts & Energy consumption.
  • Develop new/modify existing work instructions for TPM/PM programs.
  • Assists in the development of new products or processes and systems;
  • Contributes to research and development projects to meet future demands when necessary;
  • To assist in the commissioning of new plant and equipment and other systems to ensure that this introduction into the production facility is handled efficiently and with minimum disruption;
  • To instigate studies and actions to improve the efficiency of the plants building service area;
  • To assist with mechanical improvements through TPM, P.M., and Capital Expenditure Projects;
  • Provide electrical engineering skills to evaluate and solve technical manufacturing problems impacting equipment related downtime;
  • To guarantee that maintenance standards correspond to the plant’s objectives, costs and supply in order to meet the needs of the customer;
  • May be required to assist in additional training;
  • Develop safeguards and improve facility safety equipment function and reliability.
  • Works in compliance with all safety rules and regulations

 

Qualifications Required:

 

  1. Good problem solving, mathematical and mechanical skills
  2. Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in CAD.
  3. Thorough knowledge of Machine Control Systems.
  4. Must be an analytical, detail-oriented, hands on and self-motivated individual.
  5. Excellent communication and human relation skills. Also well-developed interpersonal skills, verbal and written and problem-solving skills.
  6. Must be able to work independently and past experience should demonstrate achievements supporting a results oriented focus and use of leadership skills.
  7. Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.

 

Qualifications Desired:

 

  1. 3-5 Years experience in a manufacturing facility.
  2. Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s, Servo Drives, HMI software, and Robotics.
  3. Injection molding knowledge.
  4. Six Sigma Greenbelt.

Salary Range: $80,952 - $101,184
