The Opportunity
TECKpert is seeking a Training Lead to join our team in support of our client, a government agency in Miami, FL. The Training Lead will be responsible for the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for end users and staff. This role requires a blend of instructional design expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work with stakeholders to assess training needs and implement effective learning solutions. The Training Lead will ensure the workforce is fully equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed during system implementations and organizational initiatives.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of training programs, materials, and curriculum.
- Assess training needs and develop learning strategies aligned with project goals.
- Coordinate training schedules and resources across multiple stakeholders.
- Conduct training sessions using in-person, virtual, and blended learning methods.
- Develop user guides, reference materials, and e-learning content.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and feedback.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff and end users.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and IT staff to align training with new system deployments.
Compensation and Term
This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $65 per hour.
Qualifications you need
A successful candidate has the following experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading training or workforce development programs.
- Proficiency with instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning content development.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation methods.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
