Responsibilities:

Senior Manager Financial Analysis

 

Job Summary: Performs research work and prepares financial analysis necessary to make essential corporate planning decisions.

Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary

− Manages one or multiple Financial Analysis functions
− Responsible for the production or services of the department or area
− Hires, fires, promotes, demotes, transfers, disciplines and grants raises or effectively recommends such actions
− Leads, coaches and provides effective feedback
− Assists in developing budgets and goals
− Is the primary supplier of feedback to upper management
− Manages one or more multiple work groups or unites in several different areas or a large functional unit
− Receives information in the form of objectives and sets goals to meet objectives
− Work is reviewed based on meeting objectives
− Provides clear objectives and offers support as needed
− Expresses how employees impact operational objectives
− Completes objectives through lower level supervisors or exempt professionals who have some latitude
− Participates in enterprise level or cross-functional projects when necessary
− Responsible for the production or services of a moderately complex department or area
− Manages multiple work groups or units in several different areas or a large functional unit
− Completes objectives through supervisors or senior exempt professionals who have some latitude
− Manages financial functional groups through lower level managers and /or senior exempt professionals
− Manages relationships with other departments and areas Participates in enterprise level or cross-functional projects when necessary

Education and Experience preferred
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 10 years financial analysis experience including 3 - 4 years experience managing a Planning / Analysis function
- Advanced PC skills

- Advanced analytical and project management skills
- Advanced written /verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in one-on-one and group situations, with the ability to effectively work within all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated success in working complex issues with senior management utilizing highly developed influencing skills
- Advanced facilitation skills

Physical and Other Requirements
- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
- Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays
- Sit for an extended period of time
- Hand / Finger dexterity
- Work extended hours
