JOB DESCRIPTION:

The M&E Programme Manager will oversee the implementation of the M&E strategic roadmap that will enhance the success of HBX Group. Ensuring that planning and execution is embodied by a sense of urgency and accountability. Keeping the pressure on initiative owners and coaches them when necessary. To do this well, they need to coordinate the activity across all M&E product lines and other group functions, challenge existing practices and identify new and better ways of working.

Develop and Implement Commercial Strategies:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of projects for M&E within the commercial enablement department. Ensure alignment with the HBX Group strategic objectives and priorities, with particular focus n M&E.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to optimize sales performance particularly for M&E product lines cross-sell opportunities.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with M&E commercial and wider group teams to ensure cohesive strategies and execution plans.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to support integrated performance management efforts.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor two M&E Project Managers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and external partners. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams.

M&E Commercial Project Oversight:

  • Monitor M&E project progress, track key performance indicators, and ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues as they arise.

Skills

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align project outcomes with business goals and think long-term about program impacts and opportunities.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to assess project challenges and devise effective solutions.
  • Change Management: Experience in managing and driving change within an organization, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to navigate changing priorities and environments in the travel industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP certification preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and team management , with experience mentoring and developing project managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Project Management; Master’s degree preferred.
