Join our dynamic eCOA team as a Software Quality Engineer, where you'll take full ownership of software validation and quality assurance across clinical study projects. This hands-on role offers a balanced mix of manual and automation testing responsibilities, with a strong focus on Selenium and Python-based automation. You’ll lead the end-to-end testing effort—from reviewing and approving Computer System Validation (CSV) packages to executing test strategies aligned with SOPs and regulatory standards. What You’ll Be Doing
Quality Reviews & Risk Assessment
Review specifications and manuals for clarity, consistency, and testability
Identify quality gaps and provide actionable feedback
Assess project risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Design & Execution Test (Manual & Automation)
Define test goals and design functional, integration, and performance test cases
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and documentation
Execute manual test cases and develop automated test scripts using Selenium with Python
Manage test data and generate test evidence
Defect Management & Analysis
Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
Perform root cause analysis and prioritize bug retesting
Evaluate test results and report deviations
Documentation & Compliance
Create and maintain test documentation aligned with SOPs and regulatory standards
Support internal and external audits, including regulatory agency reviews
Follow Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and compliance protocols
Project & Test Management
Plan and monitor testing activities across multiple projects
Assign tasks, manage timelines, and escalate risks
Provide accurate and timely status updates
Tool & Environment Management
Set up and maintain test environments and backend systems
Work with tools for bug tracking, test management, and automation
Recommend improvements to tools and processes
Collaboration & Leadership
Mentor and train new team members
Collaborate with offshore teams and cross-functional departments
Participate in cross-training and departmental initiatives
Continuous Improvement & Strategy
Contribute to test strategy development and process optimization
Participate in CAPA sessions and root cause analysis
Stay informed on trends in software testing, healthcare tech, and regulatory compliance
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field).
3–5 years of software testing experience
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
ISTQB Foundation Level certification (preferred)
Excellent communication skills in English
Manual Testing:
Functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
Automation Testing:
Primary tools: Selenium WebDriver with Python
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework)
Intermediate knowledge of:
Python and Java (Python preferred)
Test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
