What does the job entail?

The main tasks as an electrician depend on whether you work is shifts or not.

In daytime shifts, your main tasks include:

  • Preventive maintenance on installations
  • Modifying, renewing, and improving installations
  • Inspections, e.g. of electrical installations and substations
  • Replacing drives, commissioning electrical distribution boards, replacing defective components, post-failure follow-up, etc.
  • Working on various types of electric motors
  • PLCs
  • High and low voltage (up to 150kV)

In 2 or 4 rotating shifts, your main tasks include:

  • Troubleshooting installations
  • Taking installations out of service
  • Analyzing problems (in collaboration with production)
  • Checking logging systems
  • Replacing components
  • Working on various types of electric motors
  • PLCs
  • High and low voltage (up to 150kV)

 

The position requires you to work onsite.

 

Are you the right candidate?

  • You have at least five years of relevant experience as an electrician in an industrial context.
  • You work accurately and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • You communicate fluently in English. Moreover, you are willing to follow Dutch courses during working hours and in your spare time.
  • Safety is your top priority.
  • Having had BA4/BA5 training in the past is a plus.

Are you the right candidate?

  • You have a technical degree (such as electromechanics, energy technology, design and production technology, chemistry, etc.).
  • You can rely on at least three years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
  • You work accurately and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • You communicate fluently in English. Moreover, you are willing to follow Dutch courses.
  • Safety is your top priority.
