Position Summary:
Delta Health is seeking a Registered CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. Under the direction of a Radiologist, the CT Tech will perform all computed tomography (CT) radiographic procedures and assist with interventional procedures using CT guidance. The ideal candidate will be registered in CT and at least two additional radiologic modalities, with a strong commitment to patient care, image quality, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
CT Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
- Administer and/or assist with contrast media as ordered by Radiologists.
- Assist Radiologists during interventional procedures (biopsies, injections, drainages).
- Maintain CT area quality control, ensuring compliance with all standards.
- Participate in the training and mentorship of radiology students.
Multi-Modality & General Radiology Duties:
- Transport and position patients safely and appropriately for exams.
- Adhere to and enforce all Federal, State, and DNV standards and regulations.
- Use positioning aids and sterile techniques as necessary.
- Help prepare staff and patient schedules for optimal workflow.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and patient-ready.
- Maintain detailed records, logs, and reports for all procedures performed.
- Evaluate image quality and retake scans as necessary.
- Clean exam rooms and restock supplies after each procedure.
- Make follow-up calls to patients or providers as needed.
- Support administrative and operational tasks to ensure departmental efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- CT Certification required.
- Registered in at least two (2) additional radiologic modalities.
- Minimum two years of radiology experience.
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required.
