Description
Gather project details from senior consultants for the design and development of control systems for the water / wastewater utility industry. Design and specify control systems including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and specifications for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Motor Control Center (MCC), and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). Provide technical support for water and wastewater control systems. Prepare project deliverables including design reports, drawing sets, and cost estimates.
Requirements
Must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any field) plus one year of experience in the development of P&IDs, process descriptions, process control narratives, and capital and operational expenditure estimates using AutoCAD, MS-Visio, and MS-Office.
Nationwide travel required 50% of the time for engineering / IT consulting projects for water / wastewater utility clients. Telecommuting permitted. Relocation not required.
