What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries to our retailers
- Communicate with drivers and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues quickly
- Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and delivery changes
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal teams and external partners
- Assist with route planning and problem-solving to maximize efficiency

Requirements
Job Summary
Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost effective as a company, keep the driver safe, keep the customer happy and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Job Functions
- Plan and schedule the driver’s routes
- Schedule Back Hauls and Pick-ups
- Keep up with Hours-of-Service Rules
- Organize and communicate daily load weights, make changes as necessary
- Monitor driver equipment availability
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Knowledge of ELD functions
- Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of grocery store operations and store locations
- Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer (familiarity with Excel is preferred)
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
- Consistently communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to be highly organized
- Ability to handle high amounts of stress
Education and Experience
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 2-3 Years of related experience preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience in the grocery industry preferred
