What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries to our retailers
• Communicate with drivers and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues quickly
• Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and delivery changes
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal teams and external partners
• Assist with route planning and problem-solving to maximize efficiency

Requirements

Job Summary

Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost effective as a company, keep the driver safe, keep the customer happy and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Job Functions

• Plan and schedule the driver’s routes
• Schedule Back Hauls and Pick-ups
• Keep up with Hours-of-Service Rules
• Organize and communicate daily load weights, make changes as necessary
• Monitor driver equipment availability
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management  
• Knowledge of ELD functions 
• Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of grocery store operations and store locations
• Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer (familiarity with Excel is preferred)
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
• Consistently communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to be highly organized
• Ability to handle high amounts of stress

Education and Experience

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 2-3 Years of related experience preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Experience in the grocery industry preferred
