Summary/Objective
To serve as Branch/ Operations Manager at HomeTown Bank, N.A.. Offering support to the Senior Vice President of Lobby Services by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch to ensure all operational functions are completely and properly performed by the staff while conveying a feeling of trust, service, security, and satisfaction to the customer and staff.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for overseeing and assisting all Teller functions
- Responsible for overseeing and assisting New Account functions
- Ensures all employees practice excellent customer service skills
- Responsible for scheduling and managing employee timecards
- Prepares performance appraisals and disciplinary notices as required
- Ensures all bank policies and procedures are being followed
- Ensures the Code of Ethics Policy is being adhered to
- Responsible for reporting any Code of Ethics/ Internal fraud violations
- Maintains a working knowledge of all deposit products (personal and business)
- Maintains and approves supplies and equipment for facility
- Oversees and coordinates facility maintenance
- Review officer assigned NSF items daily
- Monitors all accounts payable items and reviews all expenditures
- Resolves customer complaints
- All other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility: This position manages all employees of the branch and is responsible for leadership, performance management and hiring of the employees within its department.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, calculators, and scanners.
Physical Demands: This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary. This position requires lifting bags and boxes of coin.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday- Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also, a Saturday rotation from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Travel: Travel is normally not expected for this position. However, temporary placement at other locations may occur due to vacations, illness, staff shortage or possible out of town training.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior Banking experience.
- Prior Management experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Prior Banking Management experience
- Bilingual- Spanish is a plus
