We are currently looking for a Regional Vice President of Facility Management
Responsibilities
- Monitor corporate preventative maintenance and work order system (TELS software).
- Provide an ongoing review of the condition of the operating systems. Record capital needs for 1–3-year projections.
- Assist VP of Facility Management in annual capital budgeting for assigned facilities.
- Actively participate in capital forecasting involving the planning, budgeting, and appropriation of resources for capital purchases in accordance with the company’s policies.
- Monitor community capital forecasts for anticipated expenditures to maintain the physical assets of each community
- Support communities in the clarification and detailing of scopes or work to properly remediate identified deficiencies.
- Actively participates in hiring qualified Maintenance Directors and provide on-site training. Training may include, but not limited to, conducting skill competency tests.
- Is available for emergencies (including a severe inclement weather event) as they arise with each community.
- Actively participates in providing training, counseling, coaching, and performance improvement plans as necessary and according to company policy and procedures.
- Ensures that QSL Management policies and procedures are followed as it relates to maintenance, safety and housekeeping.
- Maintains Federal, State, County and City regulations.
- Disaster planning and review
- Maintains a working knowledge and demonstrates acceptable performance skills in:
1. Resident rights and responsibilities.
2. Respect for residents’ belongings.
3. Respect for residents’ privacy.
4. Respect for residents’ religious beliefs.
5. Respect for interpersonal relationships with family and other staff members.
- Monitor systems and processes that ensure site facilities directors:
1. Respond to all team member and resident work requests with appropriate follow
up.
2. Communicate regularly, and transparently with residents and staff regarding
progress on work.
3. Provide support and leadership to maintenance directors as needed to ensure
functionality of physical plant systems and resident satisfaction.
4. Evaluate, execute, and monitor a consistent standard corporate process for
restoration of vacated apartments and health care rooms and occupied
apartments to assure quality and timeliness.
5. Determine common building component failures and adopt lessons learned from
other communities.
Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform and complete each essential duty satisfactorily, have excellent communication and language skills which enables them to successfully perform and complete their duties and interact effectively with residents, guests, family members, regulatory officials and sub-contractors. Employee must meet all specific state and federal regulations to assume the position of a RVP of Facility Management at assisted living communities. In addition, the individual must have a working knowledge of OSHA, construction and experience performing and/or coordinating building repairs.The following training and experience is required:
- Experience in construction and/or project management.
- Experience in capital planning and management across multiple communities and properties.
- Experience with regulatory agencies with governing jurisdiction, preferably healthcare.
- Experience supervising, motivating, leading, and influencing team members both directly and indirectly. Experience in construction management, environmental services, engineering, or business is a plus.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Must be able to travel to different communities throughout the company’s portfolio.
