A lovely down-to earth family based in Concord, MA, just outside of Boston, is seeking a fantastic full-time property manager to oversee their three homes, all located within Massachusetts. The family is seeking 40 regularly scheduled hours- they are flexible on the schedule that works best for the ideal candidate and it will generally be Monday-Friday, though they are seeking someone who has availability for emergency or on-call needs outside of regularly scheduled hours.
Responsibilities:- Ensure that all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are functioning properly and coordinate repairs as necessary
- Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards
- Maintain an inventory of household supplies and manage procurement
- Overseeing renovations and home projects
- Respond to emergencies and unexpected situations with calm and effective solutions
- Occasional travel to Cape Cod to open/close the home seasonally, and work collaboratively with the existing manager of that property
- Approve and process invoices, ensuring timely payment of vendors and contractors, in conjunction with a family office
- Team player- working with existing staff to help the home run smoothly
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proactive and detail-oriented- able to work independently and think ahead to potential issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- US work authorization
- Possess a strong background in property management/ maintenance
- Local to the Concord area- the family is not interested in relocation at this time
- Looking for a long-term fit with potential for growth into a full-time role
- $100-115k annually, DOE
