Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Communications Project Manager to lead and execute a wide range of communications projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership & Management:
    • Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of communications projects, including but not limited to, content creation, campaigns, events, digital initiatives, and internal communications.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Identify and manage project risks and dependencies, proactively developing mitigation strategies.
    • Facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment among all team members and stakeholders.
    • Track project progress, providing regular status updates to management and key stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Act as the central point of contact for all project-related communications.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, design, content, legal, and product teams) and external partners (e.g., agencies, vendors) to ensure project success.
    • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and secure buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resource Management:
    • Allocate and manage resources (both human and financial) effectively to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to secure necessary resources and services.
  • Content & Campaign Oversight:
    • Oversee the creation and dissemination of communications materials, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and project goals.
    • Manage the workflow of content production, from initial concept to final publication.
    • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, using data to inform future strategies.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to improve existing project management processes and tools.
    • Develop and implement best practices for project planning and execution.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field. PMP, Agile, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5-7 years of experience in a project management role, preferably within a communications, marketing, or public relations environment.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, Monday.com).
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
    • Knowledge of communications and marketing principles, including digital marketing, content strategy, and public relations.
    • Must be a US citizen and/or green card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
