About the Role
Five Point Dental Specialists is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our HR/Payroll team. This is a full-time, in-office role based at our corporate headquarters in Irving, TX. The Payroll & Benefits Administrator is responsible for administering biweekly payroll and managing employee benefits programs across multiple U.S. states and Canada. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, knowledgeable in compliance regulations, and comfortable working directly with employees as well as benefit vendors.
Key Responsibilities

Administer biweekly, multi-state payroll (U.S. and Canada), ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Serve as the main point of contact for benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k).

Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and ongoing support.

Partner with benefit vendors and carriers on plan updates, eligibility, and compliance.

Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, including ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and IRS regulations.

Support open enrollment and annual benefits renewal processes.

Prepare and submit benefit-related reporting, such as ACA forms (1095-C) and Form 5500.

Generate reports in Excel and payroll/HRIS systems (Paycom experience a plus).

Provide support for HR compliance projects and employee communication initiatives.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration (multi-state required; Canadian payroll experience a plus).

Hands-on experience with payroll systems (Paycom preferred).

Strong understanding of benefits compliance (ACA, COBRA, ERISA).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).

Excellent communication skills with the ability to support employees and collaborate with vendors.

High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and organizational skills.
