Job Summary

The Experience Ambassador is the ultimate steward of our guests’ journeys, delivering proactive, anticipatory service at every touchpoint. This role requires deep expertise in our ancillary offerings, destinations, supporting systems, and processes, plus the autonomy and resourcefulness to exceed expectations with minimal direction.

Essential Functions

  • Engage guests to uncover their unique travel aspirations, then present and recommend tailored products, including air, Hotel, Transfer, Insurance, Spa, and dining reservations, onboard activities, and custom experiences, in a way that displays luxury and choice integrity.
  • Proactively manage guest and travel-partner inquiries from booking amendments, tailored service requests to personalized voyage-experience planning, ensuring each interaction aligns with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s Gold Standards.
  • Identify and offer value-added ancillary offerings, maximizing guest delight and departmental revenue without compromising choice or quality.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in our ancillary portfolio, destinations, and supporting systems (including the CRS and CRM), enabling end-to-end service delivery with minimal direction.
  • Coordinate special requests for our value-added ancillary offering, spa, dining, and shoreside experiences, partnering with different support and operations teams to curate unique, high-touch engagements.
  • Orchestrate seamless connections between air, hotel, transfer, and voyage operations to deliver an anticipatory and uninterrupted guest journey.
  • Maintain detailed records of guest preferences, feedback, and one-off requests to drive continuous service enhancements and personalized touches.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Air, Hotel, Transfers, Shore Excursions, Spa, Dining, and other operational teams to execute complex itineraries and service requests, ensuring flawless handoffs and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Investigate and resolve guest concerns with urgency, discretion, and resourcefulness, always reflecting our signature service excellence.
  • Deliver an uninterrupted, luxury guest experience from initial contact through post-voyage follow-up, ensuring seamless transitions at every stage.
  • Maintains an anticipatory approach to guest needs and consistently communicates in an elevated tone that aligns with the brand’s luxury positioning, ensuring every interaction reflects The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s commitment to excellence.
  • Champion the Ritz-Carlton philosophy by modeling genuine care, respect, and professionalism in every interaction.

Competencies

Education:

  • Minimum two-year degree in hospitality, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced hospitality training or industry certifications are a plus

Skills & Experience

  • Impeccable communication skills and the ability to cultivate trust and rapport across a global luxury clientele
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a talent for anticipating needs before they are expressed
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness to resolve guest concerns in real time
  • High emotional intelligence and composure under pressure, consistently delivering calm, gracious service
  • Passion for delivering meaningful, memorable guest experiences with a relentless pursuit of excellence
  • Prior experience in luxury hospitality, cruise, or travel concierge services is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of high-touch guest service and relationship building
  • Experience working cross-functionally within a service-driven environment.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
