Bulk Packer at RAMCO SPECIALTIES INC

Objective

This position has overall responsibility to pack product into finished boxes through the bulk packing machine. 

Essential Functions

• Process production orders on the computer / RF Scanner
• Set-Up packing machine
• Process all production order paperwork
• Follow the production schedule
• Load boxes from conveyor onto completed pallets
• Drive a sit down or standup tow motor to stage product
• Orient boxes in correct configuration on finished pallets
• Confirm stock labels match production order
• Stretch wrap completed skids
• Minimal troubleshooting on label machines
• Maintain general housekeeping in and around individual work area
• Confirm box counts are accurate through weigh counting

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma is a minimum requirement
• Lift up to 35lb boxes repeatedly
• Overtime availability
• Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Experience with RF guns
• Basic computer skills
• Labeling experience

Preferred Skills

• Tow motor experience
• 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment
