  • Provides administrative court services and support for Magistrate Judges by managing criminal dockets and files.
  • Perform duties as assigned with the state-mandated Public Safety Reporting System (PSRS).
  • Prepares, enters, review files and sets court hearings.
  • Serves as a liaison between the court, public, state and federal agencies, and County departments.
  • Responds to inquiries from law enforcement agencies, county departments and general public.
  • Assists in developing and preparing the annual budget. Requisitions supplies through County purchasing system and maintains department inventory.
  • Maintains updated information regarding hourly credit for the Judge and the Court Coordinators continuing legal education.
  • Assists judge with travel arrangements, clerical duties, schedules, mail, and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in job-related legal field is required.
  • Strong computer and typing skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with other employees, the public, and elected officials.

SALARY: $20.00 per hour, Up to 29 hours per week
