Summary:

The recruiter will lead the recruiting of all staff positions at Sunshine by being the point of contact for all applicants, interviewees and agencies while screening and coordinating interviews using various social media sites and other venues to advertise our current and future openings and also focusing on building community awareness for Sunshine careers. The recruiter will also provide alternate support and back-up to the Onboarding Specialist.  



Job Details:

  • Set-up, invite, coordinate and interview applicants for all open positions at Sunshine
  • Source applicants from internal and external outlets
  • Prescreen a diverse pool of qualified applicants via phone, online and text
  • Follow open position report and connect with managers and scheduling to recruit for key needs
  • Initiate the start of the new hire packet to include coversheet and copies of employee documents including license, auto insurance, diploma, social security card, work availability, references and payroll verifications.
  • Work with HR Director and Scheduling Manager on proper position placement
  • Post and refresh positions on ATS, Indeed and other online sites. Work with HR and/or communication department on social media advertising requests, projects, fliers and marketing tools.
  • Attend hiring events and stay in regular contact with local universities, colleges, high schools and nursing/career programs
  • Coordinate and host job fairs on and off-site and in the community
  • Stay up to date on latest recruitment trends and needs


Qualifications:

To work as a recruiter, you must have the ability to use applicant tracking software, payroll and scheduling systems, and proficient with social media. You also must be able to use programs such as Relias and ICM and other training programs.

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 18 years or older
  • Prior recruiting, human resources or experience with positions serving Individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Able to talk and hear on phone and during interviews to screen applicants
  • Able to walk applicants around campus and to and from interview room
  • Able to transport marketing materials to events in a cart
  • Valid Driver’s License, good driving record and Auto Insurance
  • Pass criminal background, drug screen and physical/PT Assessment
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
