Summary of Position:

Incumbent reports to the Quality Manager and works in concert with other quality specialists and process engineers to provide a coordinated effort for common Quality Management Systems across the AFC sector while ensuring that the Neenah Cold Spring Facility meets sector and corporate quality requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Visibly demonstrate safety as a value by following safety procedures, maintaining a safe workplace and complying with safety rules. Actively participate in achieving organization and personal safety objectives.
  • Communicate fully with superiors, subordinates and others who have need to know. Communicate in a way that is timely, complete, concise, candid, and clear.
  • Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.
  • Be the Owner of CAPA/QNC, Internal Audit, Management Review, and Complaint investigations
  • Ensure compliance to quality system requirements.
  • Be Accountable for assuring direct and root causes of Major Quality Nonconformance’s and serious Consumer Complaints as required per Staff Quality direction (in-depth product knowledge).
  • Develop and maintain systems to provide the operations team with information on finished product quality, product consistency, and process capability.
  • Provide direction and coordination of efforts ensure overall effectiveness of the QMS and proactively identify and execute quality improvement programs. 9. Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System to ensure ongoing compliance with the Corporate, Global and FDA Quality Management System Requirements.
  • Assist in or lead moderate to large sized projects. Plan and carry out customer service and project responsibilities with minimal direction, but asks for assistance/guidance when appropriate. Provides technical guidance and coaching to team members.
  • Build and maintain capability in QMS, ISO, and cGMP to support objectives to manage supplier and partner quality systems versus established ISO and cGMP standards in support of existing business.
  • Support Quality culture by building relationship with operations by spending time on the operations floor.

In one of our Manufacturing, roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • The incumbent should have 2-5 years broad experience in science, engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline, and be knowledgeable in quality system requirements for consumer products, cosmetics, and higher regulated devices. Incumbent should develop working knowledge of process tools, EtQ, current Good Manufacturing Practices with emphasis on FDA CFR 820, ISO standards with emphasis on ISO-13485, CAPA, EWMA, LEAN, and Centerlining.
  • Must have a good working relationship with functional areas within a manufacturing environment in order to be able to network and to get assistance required to resolve difficult issues. This person typically has an in-depth knowledge of a single functional area and a working knowledge of many areas.
  • Must be able to travel an appropriate amount of time in order to participate in efforts with Staff and other manufacturing sites. (<10% expected).

This is a P1/Grade 11 and compensation may vary based on location.  

Salary Range: 78,660 – 92,980 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
