Job Description:
Central State Hospital is seeking an IT System Administration Manager.
Responsible for daily supervision of department staff.
Supports current implementation, configuration, imaging, and troubleshooting internal and external network infrastructure including technical support for LAN.
Responsible for hospital continuity via backups, disaster recovery, and data integrity to ensure the data of the facility is safe, secure, and available to meet hospital needs and Federal and State requirements.
Maintains facility databases and software through installation, configuration, troubleshooting and repair. Support EMR software and components used to deliver services.
Responds to requests and inquiries from staff, management, and service providers with varying degrees of computer literacy to provide technical assistance and support.
Other related duties and on-call as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Three years of computer experience, including installation, operation, programming and diagnosis of system software and equipment preferred. Experience will substitute for education on a year for year basis.
Experience with EMR preferred.
Must have excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate instructions to end users relating to equipment and software operation.
