Quality Control Documentation Inspector at Flowserve

Role Summary:  

Primary function of this position shall be inspection and/or verification of all controlled material product being shipped to the customer and the creation and/or submittal of required customer documentation. The successful candidate will be able to pass written and practical examinations that are a normal part of Flowserve qualification programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Support daily shipments of controlled material through completion and supply of required customer documentation in a timely manner
• Responsible for the retention of supplied documentation using the CVO_Apps Scanstation
• Be capable of identifying non-conformances through the viewing of valve part numbers, product markings, and supporting documentation
• Be capable of using a computer and dedicated software associated with the preparation of required QA documentation
• Perform and report inspections in a timely manner to help maintain production or shipping schedules
• Inspect or verify items to Flowserve Inspection Plans and/or Part Drawings
• Accurately use a variety of precision measuring and test equipment or be capable of learning to use these devices with a minimal amount of training
• Report in writing the results of inspections to appropriate personnel

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Detail Oriented
• Time Management skills
• Computer Savvy – Microsoft Excel based tools are heavily used in this role.  Based on this fact, the incumbent shall be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience in a Quality/Documentation related role is a plus, but not required
• An understanding of Flowserve products and the accompanying QA documentation is a plus, but not required
