Job Duties: Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product, involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget. Monitor project(s) from initiation through delivery. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. May consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance. May telecommute. (385.28925)

 

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Program Manager 4-ProdDev-related occupation. Position requires:

 

1. Automation Testing;

2. Visual Basic Scripting (On QTP);

3. Documenting Test Results;

4. Defect Logging;

5. Project and Program Management of Cloud  and Virtualization Services projects;

6. Cloud computing release management;

7. Troubleshooting backend of cloud virtualization technology;

8. Following Agile Methodology;

9. Tracking Bugs;

10. Project Scheduling and Tracking; and,

11. Publishing Weekly Status Reports.

Qualifications

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
