We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our Housekeeping team for the 2nd Shift (Part-Time). In this essential role, you’ll contribute to a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents by ensuring the timely and efficient handling of linens and personal laundry. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Stock linen carts and deliver clean linens to resident floors, ensuring adequate supply on each shift

  • Collect soiled linens and personal clothing from the health center and return cleaned and folded items to residents' rooms

  • Operate washers and dryers, maintain equipment (including lint traps), and report any maintenance needs

  • Fold and finish laundry using flatwork finishers and irons, as needed

  • Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or wear and set aside items needing special attention

  • Assist in inventory tracking and linen management

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in laundry rooms and work areas

  • Use equipment and cleaning products safely and responsibly

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 3 months of experience in laundry operations (healthcare or hospitality setting preferred)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and care in handling residents' personal items

  • Must be dependable and committed to maintaining a clean, safe environment
