Scope of the Role

The Director of Partnerships will be both a strategist and a connector, responsible for developing and executing a dual-focused partnership strategy. This includes scaling our affiliate program while spearheading PR initiatives and strategic brand collaborations to increase revenue and visibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Strategy: Create and execute a partnerships roadmap combining affiliate marketing and strategic brand alliances.
  • Manage & Scale the Affiliate Program:
    • Oversee end-to-end affiliate program management (Impact, Partnerize, ShareASale).
    • Recruit, onboard, and manage affiliate publishers, creators, and coupon sites.
    • Optimize commissions, negotiate agreements, and reallocate budgets for maximum ROAS.
  • Lead PR & Strategic Partnerships:
    • Secure partnerships with brands, influencers, media, and organizations for co-marketing and PR features.
    • Design and execute innovative campaigns that generate media attention, boost brand awareness, and reach new audiences.
    • Manage relationships and oversee campaign execution from start to performance review.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Leadership on creative, product collabs, and high-level prospects.
  • Analyze & Report: Define KPIs, report regularly on revenue, engagement, reach, and ROI.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budget allocation across affiliates and brand partnership initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, with proven success in affiliate marketing and strategic brand collaborations.
  • Direct experience in e-commerce or DTC is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of affiliate networks, tracking technologies, and performance metrics.
  • Established network within affiliate marketing and brand partnerships (a plus).
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and structuring complex deals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to move from creative ideation to ROI analysis.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with a track record of securing high-value partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
