The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Human Resources Manager to lead our mid-west human resources strategy in Indiana and elevate our people operations capabilities across TMHNA’s North American operations.
You will guide a geographically dispersed human resources organization, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture while harmonizing processes, people, and strategies across our integrated business - ensuring TMHNA is recognized as an employer of choice.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Address Associate concerns, manage conflict resolution, and maintain a positive labor environment.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department.
- Identify training needs and coordinate programs to enhance Associate skills and development in partnership with OD.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Provide support and guidance to HR business partners, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Partner with TA on hiring efforts for operations roles including interview and workforce planning.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in human resources within mid to large sized organizations.
- At least 5 years in a senior human resources management role leading large-scale, geographically dispersed human resources teams.
- Proven experience managing human resources strategy during organizational integrations, mergers, or significant transformations.
- Education & Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Where and When You’ll Work:
- This position is based on-site at our Columbus, Indiana location.
Compensation & Benefits Package:
Salary: $118,590 - $152,040 per year. Compensation is based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
