Primary Purpose
Will administer the Project Costing system, capital expenditure request (CER) set-ups, account reconciliations, budgeting and maintaining general ledger accuracy and visibility to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Completes month-end close functions including journal entries and publishing month-end reports as well as account reconciliations. Prepares adhoc reporting as needed.
- Maintains and supports the Project Costing system to include user support and assistance as needed.
- Supports project managers and other levels of management with capital project management.
- Continues to learn about industry-developing competency and commitment.
- Promotes and maintains a safe and secure work environment in accordance with Mountaire policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a related field.
- Proficient in Excel.
- The ability to learn new systems.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
