Job Summary and Purpose: 


We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Indirect Purchasing Manager to lead all non-production indirect spend categories across our U.S. operations. This includes, but is not limited to: marketing, communication, consulting, HR services, supply chain, car fleet, and travel. 

This role will be responsible for building and executing category roadmaps aligned with the company's business objectives, identifying cost-saving opportunities, mitigating risks, and driving value through supplier relationships and internal collaboration. 

 

Responsibilities and Key Duties: 


Own and manage all indirect (non-production) purchasing categories across the U.S.  

Define and implement sourcing strategies and roadmaps to support business goals. 

Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for key categories. 

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments (marketing, HR, finance, operations) to understand needs and ensure alignment. 

Monitor market trends, analyze spend data, and identify cost optimization opportunities. 

Partner with Finance to ensure budget adherence, compliance, and value tracking. 

Contribute to supplier risk assessments and performance reviews. 

Support global or regional initiatives as needed.

Technical / Functional Competencies: 


Advanced key procurement skills: Contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, management of supplier relationship lifecycle, understanding of risk mitigation principles, and understanding of various cost evaluation methods (TCO, ROI, Payback Period, etc.)  

Results driven, innovative & creative  

Aligns and energizes behind common objectives, action-oriented & willing to face challenging situations  

The ability to formulate and articulate a strategy and business case and build a tactical path  

Demonstrates candor; ability to respectfully challenge senior leadership  

Comfort/familiarity with constructing presentations, organization communications, and business cases

Qualifications:   

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain management, Business, Engineering. 

 

Work Experience 5+ year track record in a mature purchasing organization  

Experience in Sourcing Indirect spends categories (including Marketing, Communication, IT, Travel, Facilities and others)
